Liz & Gary | IN LOVE

When I say IN LOVE, do I ever mean it. These two are like a couple of young teenagers in love and can't get enough of each other!

Many of you will recognize Liz, as she is the owner of Cathy Allan Ladies Wear here in Lindsay (and today she just happens to be opening at her new location downtown). She is one of the sweetest, kindest, friendlist people you will ever meet and I felt an instant connection with Liz. The first time I met Gary, he was wearing a Winnie the Pooh tie and he stuck out his hand and shook mine and I was laughing. I knew I was going to like this guy and he's pretty cute too, don't you think? I know Liz thinks so!

For their engagements we wandered around some his families property's, visited with his uncle & his tractors and around the old barns. They couldn't stop laughing at the tractors. His uncle was watching 'the show' (as he put it) and finding it so funny I was having them kiss. Hilarious!

Liz & Gary, I can't wait for your wedding. But I know that the two of you can't wait for what is coming after that. Congratulations.

Justine & Glen | IN LOVE

For Justine & Glen's engagement shoot, we headed out to Baxter Creek Golf Club just south of Peterborough. For Justine, wandering around the clubhouse, grounds and the old farmhouse has special meaning, as it belongs to her family. It was her grandparents farm that the course is built on and also where their wedding will be in June. Now it was a tad too snowy for golf, and our plans for a game of hockey on the pond didnt work out, but we still had lots of fun. Even finishing with snow angels. My favourite shot of the day was among the cedars at the farmhouse. Justine said she used to race her cousins across the boughs to see who could make it across without touching the ground!

Felicia & Tyler | IN LOVE

Heading back to some of my fall shoots that I just had to show you! Isn't this couple cute? They look like they're 17, but I promise you much older and just so lucky to look so young! Tyler's in construction and Felicia is a highschool teacher! We had a hoot wandering around downtown Oshawa and being silly!

Nick & Ashley | WEDDING

New Year's Eve...and Nick & Ashley's wedding day! We had a little snow to say it was winter. It was cold & damp too, but that didn't stop us from taking most of our pictures outside or in the barn. Oh, the barn. Love the drama of those pictures! The dull overcast day gave the prettiest grey-blue skies, combined with the yellow of the hayfield - wow, lots of great stuff inside & out!!!

Since Nick & Ashley were getting married in the evening, we did all the pictures before hand and had a special 'first look', where the girls surrounded Ashley and hid her from Nick's view!
