Alex & Steph | MARRIED

There are so many things I'd like to tell you about this wedding, I dont know where to start! It was one of those days it was ready to rain at any moment, but we managed to come thru without a drop and even the sun came out too! During out pictures , we stopped at a small carnival for a few pictures - until they booted us out! That was a hoot! I never got to do that before!

Alex & his family are from Kenya and after the ceremony, his family started singing in Swahili and dancing around the parking lot - beautiful!!! What a great bunch of voices & rhythm - you'd think a band was playing! I understand this was a Kenyan tradition that the grooms' family sing the bride to the service - however, time was running out, so they just swapped things around and sang for everyone after! LOVED IT!

At the end of the post, you'll see Steph and Alex in their tribal wedding attire - the Kikuyu tribe. You will notice that Steph is wearing a bridal necklace that looks like it was from the Masai tribe. When I asked about it, Alex explained that tribes would often trade or adopt other tribal traditions that they liked!

Alex & Stephanie, congratulations and thank you for letting me be a part of this special day!
