HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well, it's a brand new year on the blog and full of good things to come! I was so busy last fall trying to keep up with all my shooting & editing, that I didn't get to blog hardly anything but weddings. And I know lots of followers who have been anxious to see all the 'hidden' stuff on my website, so its time for a sneak peek! I met lots of great new families and couples and I just had to give them all their turn in the spotlight. Without further adieu...

Meet Dan & Kerrie!

Dan is such a cowboy...Kerrie just the sweetest, cutest gal you ever met. Had a great time at their farm shooting them with their animals and on the wood pile. Check out that picture of Dan with the chainsaw...smokin'. Just before Christmas, a couple of months AFTER these pictures were taken, Dan popped the question. Kerrie called just today to book their 2011 wedding. I figured that was a good reason for them to be #1 on my blog in 2010. Congratulations!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello Everyone
Just wanted to say a huge 'THANK YOU' for another successful year. I have met some truly wonderful people and been priveleged to capture some of the best moments of your lives! Sounds cheesy...but its true. I am so blessed to be able to making a living doing what I love to do! Thank you!

A couple of weeks ago I did my last shoot of the year....a brother & sister around the Christmas tree. Too darn cute! This is one of my favourite pictures from that shoot.

Jenn & Roy | ENGAGEMENT

Meet Jenn & Roy. During our first consultation I could just feel the love, the friendship and the respect these two have for each other...they just ooze love. I love that!!!

We had a gorgeous, warm November day for their engagement shoot and I'm really excited about their wedding at The Briars in Sutton in 2011.

Cecelia + Craig | ENGAGEMENT

I am way, way, way behind on my blog posts, so I thought I had better get back at it now that I am getting caught up. There will be a bunch of new 'old' posts coming in the next few weeks and through January. I've had dozens of great shoots over the fall that I just have not had time to blog but they all deserve their turn in the spotlight!

So, we'll start with Cecelia & Craig. These two are such a riot...I can't wait for their wedding. I hear tell that will be one big party!!! We shot these pictures around their farm....and most of you know by now, how much I like to shoot in or around a barn...its just the best light!

Bailey + Chris | WEDDING

We didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful October light, but we were just glad we didn't get poured on!! The rain held off for most of the pictures and the wedding party & family were troopers for standing outside on such a cold & windy day. The wind did make for some drama with Bailey's hair and dress that I just love!
