Belcroft Estates

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Belcroft Estates near Bradford. I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa & Matt's wedding there, this past weekend. What a unique place to hold your event! Your hosts, Jim & Sue, have thought of everything. A modern suite for the bride & bridesmaids to get ready, the guys garage full of memorabilia & pinball machines, a barn for your dinner & reception, a large gazebo for the ceremony and not to mention the beautiful grounds! Wow...what a pleasure to shoot there! Beautiful light, lots of shade, beautiful century home & gardens, ponds, rows of fruit trees & mature maples. So many lovely locations to shoot and I didn't get to nearly a 1/4 of them. Really a photographer's dream! Angela & Anthony | ENGAGEMENT

Smokin'...that's what I think of this first picture!! Wouldnt you agree?

Angela & Anthony have been through more in these past couple of years than most couples will go thru in a lifetime...and they've come out smiling on the other side! I am sure they are destined for a long & happy life together.

Just working on my blog, getting you some bigger pictures. For some reason the uploader keeps compressing the pictures weirdly and not showing them the way they should look. So, I'm working on it. In the meantime, some odd repeat pics!!

Update...a few minutes later....I think I got it figured out!! Picture looks pretty good now!! We'll see what happens next time!

Ryan + Tracey | WEDDING

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Lowe! Ryan & Tracey had a lovely outdoor wedding at her family home in Dunsford. I am sure they had a party well into the wee hours of the morning!

Angela + Chris | ENGAGEMENT

Angela & Chris are getting married in just a few short weeks...the daily countdown has begun for them. They brought their charming dog, Jaide, along for a family picture too!! These two have been together for several years...something like 11!(did I get that right?) When I asked Chris what took so long to propose, he said "I had to save up for that rock!" LOL I'm sure Angela will tell ya it was worth the wait! Formal proposal or not, these two are destined for a long life together! Can't wait for the wedding!

I'm Back!!!

It was a wonderful vacation - camping & combing the north shore of Lake Superior. If you ever get the chance to take the LONG drive - you will not regret it. The mountainous terrain gives you spectacular views of the lake. We camped near Schreiber, 2 hours from Thunder Bay, with our campsite right on the pebble beach. Spectacular!

But vacation is over and back to work! I know many of you are anxiously awaiting your pictures and right after this post, you're next up on the list!!!

We'll its about 1/2 way through wedding season and time for a break!! Just in time too, since we finally got summer!! I'll be taking some pictures just for pleasure and spending time with my family before school starts again! (sorry, the dreaded 'S' word!) So, I'm swearing off technology till August 26th when I will return your calls & emails!

Julie & John | WEDDING

Not very often will you see a milk truck in someone's wedding pictures...but Julie married the milkman, so we have a milk truck! Combined with the red barn & the gnarly sky it made for some awesome pictures! The whole day was just fantastic, with a great group of people, a beautiful view from the family farm & nice weather!
