Happy Father's Day

This is my Dad. He's a farmer, if you couldn't tell! He loves really old country music, especially Hank Williams Sr & Johnny Cash & Hank Snow. He drives unbelievably slow. He works unbelievably hard & I don't think he'll ever stop. He loves his cattle. He loves FORD anything. He loves a good roast beef dinner and if he is on the road for more than an hour, he has to stop for pie & coffee somewhere. This morning when I called, he was making his famous pancakes for my brother, Keith, and his son Brady. Good Grandpa stuff. This morning when I made my husband & son & his friend, my famous waffles, we listened to Johnny Cash. And suddenly I burst into tears. I love you, Dad.

Call your Dad, your Grandpa, your Uncle and tell them you love them. Happy Father's Day.

I do lots of family pictures, but I don't very often post samples on my blog because it's hard to keep up just with the brides & grooms. However, Mel will kill me if I don't post her babes!!! So here's something different for a change!

Karen & Mike | IN LOVE

So Karen was afraid that Mike wasn't going to be too happy doing engagements pix - aren't wedding pictures enough? However, things went really well (just goes to show you I can make anyone have fun) but when he was done - he was done! Then we got talking about fire trucks/wedding plans and incorporating the two things together and wouldnt you know, we stopped by the fire hall. Well, now Mike was thinking pics weren't so bad! Now most of my friends know how much I like those hunky dunky dark haired fireman...so this was a treat for me!!! So, I start by showing you the end of the shoot first!

Amy & Evan | IN LOVE

Amy calls a couple days before her shoot & says "Evan got hit in the face with a stick playing hockey. The bruising is gone and the swelling is down, but he still has a slice across his nose. What do we do?" No problem, I said.

So Evan, like most men, don't like getting their picture taken too long. However, when I told him to drive his truck into the field and stand beside it - well, then things were OK. So we'll call this Evan's GM advertisement. Sexy. Notice the bright smile on his face with Amy in the next shot. A man & his truck. Love.
